37 Week Appointment

I went to the doctor yesterday for my 37 week appointment. Dr. Chwe said that everything is still going good & Wes is happy where he is at - for now. We are going to be induced on 2/10/09 so ONLY 2 more weeks & we will meet little Wes!!! We are so so excited! If anything changes before the 10th I will be sure & let everyone know.

Baby Shower @ Berry

We had our baby shower at Berry this afternoon. Thanks to everyone that came and/or sent gifts - we are truly blessed to have so many friends & family members that took time from their busy Sunday afternoon to come & celebrate with us. I have a lot of pictures to post & will do so as soon as I get the memory card from my mother.

I hope that everyone has had a great start to the new year.

4D Ultrasound/29 Week Appointment & Baby Shower @ Work

We went for our 4D ultrasound & 29 week appointment on 12/2/08. The ultrasound was amazing! We were so glad to get to see our little Wes - he even smiled at us. He weighed 2lb 15oz which is average for 29 weeks. The cord was floating in front of his face so I went back on 12/9/08 for another 4D ultrasound & the pictures were a lot better. No smiles this time but he did suck his thumb for us - so cute! He weighed 3lb 2 oz this week. I go back on Monday for my 31 week appointment so I will have another update next week.

My office gave me a baby shower on 12/3/08. We were given a lot of nice things for Wes - I'll try to post pictures this weekend.

Doctor's Update

We went to the doctor yesterday for my 27 week appointment and had my glucose test - which I passed! I was so happy! Dr. Chwe said that Little Wes looked good and so did I. I had gained 5 pounds since my last appointment - WOW! I had been gaining only 2 -2.5 pounds between appointments so I was a little shocked but I am still on the modest side of weight gain so I guess that is good since Thanksgiving & Christmas are coming up! We go back on Dec. 2 for our 29 week appointment & 4D Ultrasound. Please keep us in your prayers that this pregnancy continues to be healthy & Little Wes arrives safely in February.

Nursery for Little Wes

We are getting ready for the arrival of little Wes in February. We finally decided on our bedding for the nursery so I ordered some of the items today - hopefully they will be here in a couple of weeks so I can begin decorating. We have to pick-up his dresser at Sugarfoots & then we will be getting close to having the nursery finished.
